Types of Ovarian Cancer: -
1.Epithelial Tumers: -
Both of these form tissues outside the ovary. It
is the most common type of cancer. It occurs in 85 to 90 percent of women.
2.Germ Cell Tumers: -
It is a rare type of cancer that begins in the
egg cells.
3.Primary peritoneal carcinoma: -
It is similar to an epithelial tumer, but
it is not affected by the removal of ovaries.
Symptoms of Ovarian Cyst and Ovarian Cancer: -
When the cyst is small, the symptoms are not understood, but
as it gets older, many symptoms begin to appear. The symptoms of both the cyst
and the cancer are almost the same:
1. Swelling of the stomach
2. Pain in the vagina (before or
after menstruation)3. Lower back pain
4. Discomfort, vomiting and fever
